Fighting cancer and chronic diseases are usually difficult battles for patients and their immediate family and friends. Most of the patients undergoing treatments for cancer and chronic diseases tend to witness changes in their appearance as a result of those treatments. Moreover, due to the difficulties they face with the new routine that they need to adapt to, many patients tend to gradually lose their optimism, faith and self-confidence.

The Purpose

We believe in the inexhaustible power of man and our endless ability to adapt and manage the conditions around us. What we want to achieve through the work of I LIVE FOR ME is to provide solutions to the patient's everyday life, where the conditions are really difficult, thus sending the message of optimism and reminding everyone of the value of life and the strength we need to win daily battles in our lives.

Message from the Founder

Over the last 3 decades of serving in the medical field, I have witnessed an array of events and experiences that relate to the way the patients themselves experience cancer, both in Greece as well as abroad.
The number one concern of each patient is to beat his or her battle with cancer. It is of equal importance though for them to know that during this period they will need to undergo treatment and in turn this will affect their day-to-day lives. Simple and given moments and aspects of their daily routines will change drastically as patients will need to come to terms with their new reality.

Our action

I LIVE FOR ME aims to achieve awareness on the crucial issue of cancer prevention and other chronic diseases, through an array of media actions and campaigns.
